8. INSPECTION AND DOCUMENTS

8.1. Whom do you ask to inspect the goods and issue the documents?

If the buyers do not designate a special authoritative inspection organization, we ask CIQ (ENTRY-EXIT INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, former CCIB) to do inspection and issue the certificates.

8.2. Whom do you ask to issue certificate of origin?

Certificate of origin: issued either by CIQ (ENTRY-EXIT INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA) or CCPIT (China Chamber of International Commerce, or China Council For The Promotion Of International Trade) of P.R.China.

For Generalized System of Preferences Certificate of Origin (Form A): CIQ

8.3. Do you accept inspection of SGS (SGS-CSTC Standard Technical Services Co.,LTD.)?

Yes if the quantity is not less. There is the SGS branch office in Qingdao. But the charges are so high that we, like most of the other exporters in China, are reluctantly to do it.

8.4. Do you arrange the documents legalization?

Most mid-east countries ask the invoice or origin certificate to be legalized by their

embassies or consulates in China, if so the legalization fee should be separately

added to our quotation because it is not less, sometimes too high to bear.

8.5. Does our plant issue certificates for our own products?

Yes, we can do inspection for our own goods and issue the certificates when our customers asks us to do it, but we must also have these goods inspected by CIQ and ask them to issue certificates too, or else, we are not allowed to ship out the goods by China authorities.
